This nine-night itinerary was hand curated by Delaware’s Amy Jenkins to bring the book’s atmosphere to life, blending coastal beauty, ancient history, and the magic of exploring Italy and Greece by sea.
We’ll sail aboard the boutique Azamara Onward, a small luxury ship carrying just 670 guests, which allows us to visit intimate ports and enjoy longer days and late nights ashore. This means more time to wander, dine, explore, and soak in each destination - not just pass through it.
One of the highlights of this itinerary is Amalfi, the heart of our book inspiration. Approaching the coastline from the water is unforgettable - pastel villages stacked along the cliffs, winding alleys, and that unmistakable Mediterranean charm. We’ll also visit Santorini, Greece, and Marmaris, Turkey as well as additional ports throughout Italy and Greece, each offering its own blend of culture, history, and breathtaking scenery.

Embark on a captivating journey blending the literary heritage of Northern England, the mystical legends of North Wales, and the sweeping landscapes of the Peak District and Snowdonia National Park.
This literary journey through Northern England and Wales blends beloved books, historic libraries, grand estates, and breathtaking landscapes into an immersive experience for readers and travelers alike.
Beginning in Manchester, we will embark on private tours of iconic literary sites including the historic Chetham’s Library, followed by a traditional afternoon tea. Our itinerary then ventures into North Wales, exploring the Alice in Wonderland connections of Llandudno, the medieval grandeur of Conwy Castle, and the Arthurian legends woven through the dramatic landscapes of Snowdonia (Eryri). Crossing into the Peak District, follow in the footsteps of Jane Austen with visits to Treak Cliff Cavern and the magnificent Chatsworth House (best known as Pemberley from the Pride and Prejudice movie!). We will also visit the elegant spa town of Buxton, celebrated by writers such as Lord Byron. The journey concludes with afternoon tea at Elizabeth Gaskell’s House and a farewell dinner in Manchester.
